My name is Gina….and I am a healer.

I started my career as a nurse aid, became a Paramedic and advanced to a Physicians Assistant. Later, at the age of 35 I then went back to medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. After medical school I completed my residency at The University of Missouri at Kansas City, specializing in Emergency Medicine. Upon returning home to Oklahoma I accepted a position as an emergency physician at Presbyterian Hospital Emergency Department where I soon advanced to Emergency Department Director. I went on to work in numerous Emergency Departments throughout Oklahoma during my 22 years of practice in Emergency Medicine.

In 2014 I had a life changing event; a brain hemorrhage, aka stroke. I’ve had to climb out of a deep hole to recover, much like a deep depression. So I can certainly relate to people who are suffering from depression, PTSD or chronic pain. If you’ve never experienced what the worst life has to offer, you may not be able to relate to people who feel like there is no hope, or that there may not be a tomorrow. I have helped countless people in the Emergency Department over the years who were balancing near the edge of life—for MANY reasons. Be it trauma, cardiac arrest, physical illness or any number of catastrophic mental or emotional events, I’ve dealt with it all. My own stroke was a wake up call. Advanced Ketamine Services is the product of my journey to re-create my place in Medicine where I can provide a much needed opportunity to reset and recharge those who are suffering.
