What is Meso Fusion Therapy?

What is Meso Fusion Therapy?Fines lines and wrinkles, a thinning hairline, a dulling complexion, dark circles around the eyes, or stubborn scars and blemishes are all skin conditions that can affect our self-confidence and appearance. Though over the counter products can be helpful in some instances, for some, professional treatment may be necessary. However, these treatment options can be rather expensive and cause you to worry about the results looking unnatural. We would like to educate our patients on a minimally invasive, effective treatment option: Meso Fusion Therapy.

What is Meso Fusion Therapy?

Meso Fusion Therapy is a minimally invasive procedure that combines microneedling with microinjections in a single procedure to treat a variety of skin conditions and stimulate your body’s natural healing response to rejuvenate your skin and achieve outstanding natural-looking results. Meso Fusion Therapy is safe and effective for all skin types and tones and is completely customizable to treat your unique needs. We also offer a “needle-free” Meso Fusion Therapy option that uses radiofrequency energy to target and treat damaged cells without using microneedling.

Treatable Conditions

Meso Fusion Therapy can help to treat a variety of skin conditions including but not limited to the following:

  • Dark circles under eyes
  • Dull or dry complexion
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Loose skin
  • Redness
  • Scars and blemishes
  • Stretch marks and cellulite
  • Uneven skin tone and texture

Meso Fusion Therapy can also be used as a form of hair revitalization treating hair loss, thinning hairline, dandruff, and more.

What is the treatment like?

Treatment length is approximately an hour but can vary depending on the area of skin that is being treated. Before treatment, your skin will be cleansed and then numbed with a topical anesthetic so that you can be comfortable during your procedure. Using a pen-like device, tiny precise micro-injuries are made into the skin and trigger the body’s self-repair process. These micro-injures are controlled and set at specific depths determined by the patient’s goal for the treatment.

During the microneedling process, we introduce microscopic quantities of customized serums containing proteins, enzymes, hormones, vitamins, and hyaluronic acid into your skin. The micro-injuries made by the needling process help your skin to absorb the serums resulting in a younger, rejuvenated, and glowing appearance. There is no pain typically associated with Meso Fusion Therapy, but some patients do report a slight tingling sensation.

For patients who elect the needle-free option, the process is rather similar. Instead of using microneedling to make micro-injuries, the radio frequency energy is delivered through probes and penetrates deep into the skin and directly into cells. Patients may feel a sensation of warmth as the body’s healing response is stimulated.

Recovery and Results

Following treatment, you may experience some redness and tenderness similar to the feeling of a moderate sunburn. Your skin may also feel tight. These symptoms should subside within a few hours, though the redness may persist for several days. Small scabs may appear as part of the recovery process. Do not pick, itch, or scrub them off. It is important to avoid using harsh cosmetic products and facial scrubs or taking hot showers until the redness subsides. We also urge patients to avoid intense sunlight exposure for at least 2 weeks during recovery.

With Meso Fusion Therapy, your body will heal naturally. As your skin heals, you will notice your skin becoming firmer and a reduction in fine lines, scars, pigmentation, and blemishes as well as an improvement in the tone and texture of your skin. Though patients notice results following the initial treatment, more sessions may be required depending on the patient’s goal. We generally recommend a series of 3-6 treatment sessions about 4 weeks apart for full rejuvenation.

Meso Fusion Therapy uses the body’s amazing ability to heal and improve itself, making it a natural, safe skincare solution. For more information on this treatment option or to schedule a consultation, contact Signature Skin Care today.
